Creative Journaling
Let’s talk about creativity in your Bullet Journal. In difference to the standard Bullet Journal method you will probably find a lot of super creative Bullet Journals out there. I am as well putting a lot of time and work into my journal spreads to make them beautiful, aesthetic looking or simply creative.
There is no need to do so BUT it can have some benefits as well. Some of them I want to mention now.
First of all your journal is a place to express yourself. If you are a creative person that likes to doodle or paint you can add that in your journal. There is no need to fill extra paper with your creative works!
Next to mention is relaxation. I like to put art in my journal because it’s my way of relaxing from a stressful day. Already years ago I put stickers in my planners and now I’m taking it to the next level with doodles and little paintings.
And of course inspiration. If you are open-minded and take a look on other artists and creators you will soon find inspiration in their ways of doing thing. It may be a interesting style of a monthly layout or a fun way to add pictures of your last beach trip to your weekly.
Inbetween your never-ending to do lists you can add uplifting quotes or artworks to brighten up your day, to help you focus on a certain topic or to get inspired and motivated to keep going with a difficult task.
So your Bullet Journal can be a lot more than just a never ending to do list helping you to stay organized. It can be a relaxing, creative piece of art for memorykeeping and experimenting!
It all of course depends on yourself: start thinking about what you need, what you want and what might be too much or unneccessary.
